Service Description
Young Writer Coaching is a four-session, one-on-one coaching series for middle and high school students who want to become more confident, capable, and independent writers. Together, we'll set an individualized goal and build each session around the skills and interests that matter most to them. Depending on their goals, we might work on: Generating and developing ideas Story structure and organization Character, scene, and dialogue Voice, style, and description Essay and personal narrative writing Revision and responding to feedback Getting unstuck—and knowing what to do next Each series includes four private 60-minute sessions, along with personalized instruction, feedback, and resources tailored to your young writer. For middle & high school students (ages 11–18). After booking, we'll meet for a brief 15-minute welcome call to discuss your goals, answer any initial questions, and make a plan for scheduling and getting the most out of our work together.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy Young Writer Coaching is designed as a four-session series, with dedicated time reserved for your student over a six-week period. For that reason, coaching packages are non-refundable once purchased. I understand that schedules change—especially with kids and teens. Individual sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice, subject to availability. Cancellations made with fewer than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed sessions, will generally be counted as one of the four sessions in the series. I understand that illness and unexpected circumstances happen, however, and one late cancellation may be rescheduled without penalty during each four-session series. All four sessions should be completed within six weeks of the first session. Extensions may be made at my discretion in the case of illness, travel, or other extenuating circumstances. If I need to cancel a session, we'll reschedule it at a mutually convenient time.
